How long does it take to set up my eStore?

Your eStore will be activated within minutes of ordering. You can immediately set up your design with a simple shop design assistant. After that, your eStore is online and ready to go. The entire process is done online with your browser from any computer worldwide. You do not need to download any software or worry about FTP uploads.

Do I need any programming knowledge to create and customise my eStore?

No. You can create and customise your eStore quickly using pre-defined templates with just a few mouse clicks. Programming knowledge is not necessary. Users with HTML knowledge can, however, use freely-designable fields and modify individual page elements to create an unmistakable design.

Do I need anything else besides the eStore package to be able to start selling online?

No. You will receive everything you need with your subscription. Server space on the eStore servers is all included in the package to enable you to start selling as easily as possible. If you like you can use your own domains and email addresses too. You may also wish to set up an agreement with a secure payments provider in order to be able to accept online payments.

Can I integrate eStore into my existing website?

Yes. Your eStore can be integrated into an existing website by placing a link to your online shop anywhere within your site. Your customers can first learn about your company and then can go to your shop if they are interested in purchasing.

Can I import (upload) existing product data to the shop or export data from my eStore?

Yes. It is easy to import product data. If the product data is in a defined Excel format (CSV; semicolon separated), you can use the import tool to quickly and easily upload the data to your shop.

Can I use the eStore to sell my products in multiple languages?

Yes. With eStore 1000 and 5000 you can sell internationally and find customers overseas. The eStore 1000 allows you to have up to 2 languages. With the eStore 5000, you can offer up to 5 languages. Installing a new language and switching between languages can be done with just a few mouse clicks.

Can I sell in other currencies in the shop?

Yes. You can do this very easily. With a simple change in the back office of your eStore, you can offer items in various currencies (eStore 1000 and 5000 only)

Can my customers always see their shopping basket?

You can set in the back office whether you want a small shopping basket to always be visible to customers. You can also change how the shopping basket is displayed. You can set up the system so that only the shopping basket status is shown (number of items and the total), or you can also show the customers which products are in the shopping basket.

Can the eStore show net and gross prices?

The shop can be flexibly configured in this way as well. You can set how the product prices should be shown in the shop administration for example as "net" with the note "plus VAT". During the order, the VAT that is assigned in the back office will be added and displayed. If you sell to consumers, you are required by law to display gross prices in your shop. The price values then are shown with the note "including VAT".

Which payment types are available for my customers?

You can set which payment methods (direct debit, credit cards, cash-on-delivery, invoice, cheque, bankers' draft, transfer) you want to offer to your customers in the shop administration. In addition, your eStore offers pre-configured secure payment gateways to payment service providers such as Paypal, Google Checkout and Moneybookers.

How does online payment using PayPal work?

To be able to use PayPal, you need to set up an account with PayPal. eStore, as a PayPal partner, has prepared the interface to the PayPal system so that your customers can then conveniently pay online using PayPal. Similar interfaces are available to other major Payment providers.

How does my shop connect to eBay?

eBay is the largest online marketplace in the world and is visited by millions of potential customers. Your eStore has a special interface that allows you to offer your products on eBay at the click of a mouse. You can easily configure selling with eBay in the "eBay" section of the administration area of your shop. After you have entered all required settings, you can put your item on the eBay marketplace with a few quick steps.

What do Kelkoo / Pangora offer?

Shopping search engines are signposts on the internet. They enable customers to compare prices and select the best offer from a large number of online shops. If you are represented in relevant price and shop search engines, you can show your catalogue to more potential customers and enhance your market presence.

How can I inform shop customers about news?

eStore has a powerful newsletter tool that you can use to quickly and easily send professional newsletters from your shop to various customer groups. You can also put content boxes on your home page to show customers special deals and sale items immediately upon entering your site. You can even create your own news area in the shop so that interested visitors can go to that page for all the information in one place.

Can I allow others access to the shop administration?

Yes. You can define multiple back office users for your eStore and allow them access to various parts of the administration.

How do I upgrade from one eStore type to another?

This is easy as the various packages are fully compatible with one another. It does not require any work on your part to switch from one shop type to another. Your shop data and design are transferred to the new shop type for you with its increased functionality.

How do I cancel my eStore?

You can cancel your eStore package at any time during the initial 30 day trial. After that you will be entering into a 12 month minimum contract for the service. You can cancel in writing at any time, however the remainder of the minimum 12 month subscription package will be charged. After the initial 12 months you can cancel at any time by giving us 30 days notice.
