Mobile Tariff FAQ

I'm not sure how many minutes I might use each month and don't want to pay for some that I might lose. How can I be sure this doesn't happen?

With KC Enterprise and Corporate User tariffs, you only pay for the minutes you use. There are no inclusive minutes or texts so you don't need to worry.

I sometimes use more minutes in a month than in others. If I buy a bundled tariff, can I change the bundle size?

Yes, with all our bundles, you can increase the size to one that is more suitable on a monthly basis. Alternatively, with our KC Flexible CallShare tariff you can add up to two Minutes Bolt Ons to your tariff; we offer 250, 500, 1000 & 2000 Minutes Bolt Ons.

With bundled tariffs, what happens if I do not use all my minutes in the month? Do I lose out?

With KC, your minutes and inclusive text messages roll over for 3 months. If they remain unused after 3 months, you will lose them.

Do I get inclusive text messages with bundled tariffs?

Yes, with our Individual & Shared Bundles you get an inclusive message bundle, which can be used for text or media messages. KC, with O2 are the only UK mobile network to offer this as standard with Shared Bundles tariffs.

I send lots of texts every month. Is there any way I can save money by buying in bulk?

We offer a range of Messaging Bolt Ons with selected tariffs. Media messages are included so you won't have to add these later.

I work along side a team of others. Is there any way we could buy a big bundle of minutes to share between us?

All KC bundle tariffs can be shared by up to 99 users. We offer 500 to 10,000 minutes.

If I buy lots of mobiles from KC, can I get a discount?

KC will always look at the value of the deal and offer the most competitive prices we can. Although our published RRP rates are very competitive, we will consider discounts for multiple connections on application.

I often use my mobile to call abroad from the UK and use my mobile while I'm abroad, how much will this cost me?

All KC business tariffs include International Traveller Service (ITS), with no monthly subscription. This gives up to 80% off UK calls abroad – compared to our standard rates - and you'll get the lowest prices of any UK network operator for calls made within the EU.

My handset is old, can I get a new one if I join KC and how much will it cost?

New handsets are offered to all KC customers taking any KC Business Tariff on either a 12 or 24 month contract. We offer a wide range of handsets in our business portfolio so that each customer can find the handset that suits them in terms of both price and features.

I don't always know which network I call when I use my mobile. I've heard these calls are more expensive. Am I going to get a huge mobile bill as a result?

All KC's Bundled business tariffs include calls to other networks in the bundle. If you don't break your bundle, all you'll pay is your monthly subscription. This also applies to the Minutes Bolt Ons you can add to Shared Bundles.

I mainly make calls to the other members of my team and to certain suppliers. Are there any ways to save money on these calls?

With KC Enterprise and Corporate User tariffs, you can call between your mobiles and up to 250 of your company direct dial extension numbers for just 4.5p (ex VAT) per minute. You also get 20% discount off our standard call rates to 5 other numbers you choose, such as your key suppliers; these can be land line or mobile numbers.

I work in a small local area and make most of my calls to land line numbers in this area. Are these calls any cheaper?

Yes, if you are a KC Enterprise or Corporate User customer, you can save money by adding KC Business Zones to your tariff. This allows you to save up to 40% on calls to 2 local area codes of your choice. KC Business Zones has a monthly subscription of 85p (ex VAT) per mobile and applies to all mobiles in your account.
